Britain's new immigration policies relaxed to allow additional foreign employees in alleviating their skills to shortage the coronavirus pandemic. Companies have complained about a lack of workers, particularly in hospitality, food processing, and logistics. Since COVID 19 began to lift earlier this year, allowing the economy to recover, resulting in gaps on store shelves and restaurant closing. These aspects of British policies are connected to the UK's immigration system. The UK Visas and Immigration department is in charge of the country's immigration policies. Brexit, the government has launched a multi-year transformation initiative, led by the Home Office, to reform the country's border and immigration system. Immediately after the end of the first phase of the effort in 2021, future developments included an Electronic Travel Authorization system. The UK electronic travel authorization (ETA) is a planned electronic system for migrants arriving in the UK. 


EU citizens who arrive in the UK after January 1, 2021, will need a visa to work. They can continue to work in the UK without Visa. It is said to be a negative move for EU nationals and employers who believed to come to the UK. On the plus side, the new system makes obtaining a work visa easier than before. The required skill level has dropped as a reward. Firms that have already sponsored foreign nationals under Tier 2 of the previous immigration system will appreciate the changes. The revised Immigration Rules were presented on October 22, 2020, as a "points-based system" was a series of visa categories under the previous immigration system. There are some standards for each visa category that had to meet.

The Standard Visitor visa changed with Family Visitor, General Visitor, Child Visitor, and Business Visitor visas. The visas for academics, doctors, and dentists, as of April 2015. Sports Visitor visas, Entertainer Visitor visas, Prospective Entrepreneur visas, Private Medical Treatment Visitor visas, and Approved Destination Status (ADS) visas are some of the types of visitor visas available. Tier 4 visa meant for students for a short term period. In Tier 5, temporary sponsored workers visas and are a charity and religious work, visas for domestic workers. Visa applicants must have a position at a recognized educational institution that sponsors migrants. Tier 4 visas are available in different lengths, depending on how long it takes you to finish your studies. The student is allowed additional time after the course concludes to receive results and determine whether to use them, but this time may not be sufficient to cover graduation.
